The former executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show requested that his ex-wife resume alimony payments.

The judge determined that Hunter’s requests were not urgent and ordered that the current application be dismissed without prejudice. Wendy is therefore not obligated to resume paying him alimony. The judge also refused Hunter’s request that the former host of The Wendy Williams Show reimburse his legal bills.

It is possible that Hunter’s requests will continue. According to court documents obtained by the Sun, the judge advised mediation in the case.

After Hunter allegedly stopped receiving alimony payments in February 2022, he filed a motion for payments to resume in November 2022. He asked the court to order Wendy’s financial guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, “to make payments in accordance with the MSA and Severance Agreement.”

Hunter claims he is insolvent and unable to pay his bills. He claimed at the time in his request:

There is a valid reason why Wendy ceased paying alimony to Kevin. Kevin “knew and agreed” that “all Severance Payments are subject to cancellation or modification” if Wendy’s contract is “not renewed and/or otherwise suspended, cancelled, or terminated.” Hunter would not get a Severance Payment due to the termination of her contract.
