A man in Warren County, age 22<\/strong>, has been charged with making sexually abusive content featuring a 3-year-old girl<\/strong> and posting it online<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the charges against Phillipsburg resident Jabari Amador were announced by State Attorney General Matthew Platkin and State Police Superintendent Colonel Patrick Callahan.<\/p>\n

On January 12, Colorado police contacted their counterparts in New Jersey about child victimisation files discovered during the arrest of a 34-year-old man in Colorado.<\/p>\n

According to Pearl Minato, director of New Jersey’s Division of Criminal Justice, law enforcement was able to identify the suspect, execute a search warrant, and make an arrest in less than 12 hours.<\/p>\n

She remarked that “this case is a great example” of interstate cooperation between law enforcement agencies in the fight against online child predators.<\/p>\n

The child sexual abuse material was found on multiple digital devices seized from Amador’s home.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amador is accused of endangering the well-being of children in the first degree because he produced materials that could be used for sexual abuse or exploitation of children.<\/p>\n

He was also charged with sexual assault in the second degree and endangering the welfare of children in the third degree for the distribution of more than 25 pieces of child sex abuse material.<\/p>\n

Until his trial, Amador was incarcerated in Warren County.<\/p>\n

Case prosecution has been assigned to the state’s Department of Criminal Justice.<\/p>\n

A 31-year-old man in Hudson County was recently charged with sex crimes against a 4-year-old girl, in addition to those already brought against him for possessing child sexual abuse material.<\/p>\n

West New York resident Joseph Suarez has been charged with both aggravated sexual assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated sexual assault.<\/p>\n

Platkin said in a statement released on Wednesday that those who “manufacture and traffic in child sexual abuse materials inflict unimaginable harm on victims who often suffer from it throughout their entire life.”<\/p>\n
