Police in West Caldwell say that at 8:40 a.m., Anthony R. Stuckey, 37, of Newark, was driving a full-size school bus that had just dropped off students at West Caldwell Tech High School. The bus he was driving slammed at an angle into a ranch-style house on Passaic Avenue.<\/p>\n

The force of the impact ripped the lawn outside the wall and tore a huge hole in the side of the house.<\/p>\n

A Dozen or So Charges Against the Driver<\/h2>\n

The police say that nobody was home when the crash occurred. Stuckey had minor wounds attended to, but he declined further medical attention. First, he was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.<\/p>\n

Further, Stuck was accused of committing these crimes:<\/p>\n

• There were 15 charges of child endangerment.<\/li>\n
• Underage drinking and driving<\/li>\n
• With a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of.04% or higher, commercial vehicle operation is illegal.<\/li>\n
• DUI – Drunk Driving<\/li>\n
• Lack of Commercial Driver’s License (school endorsement)<\/li>\n
• Careless lane changing<\/li>\n
• Reckless driving<\/li>\n
• Imprudent driving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  The bus’s sideboard advertised both Phoenix Transportation Services and East Orange. On Friday afternoon, calls to the company’s listed Newark number went unanswered.<\/p>\n
