BRUNSWICK, N.J. (NEWSWIRE) \u2014 The 29-year-old suspect was caught in New Jersey acting the part of a high school student.<\/p>\n

She allegedly gave a forgery of her birth certificate to the New Brunswick school system in order to enrol, according to the police.<\/p>\n

New Brunswick High School students are outraged because a 29-year-old woman was arrested for enrolling at the school with a forged birth certificate and attending classes for four days. The news was revealed during a school board meeting on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Hyejeong Shin, the accused, has been charged with one count of submitting a false government document with the goal to establish one’s identity or age. A letter with her likeness was sent around the school.<\/p>\n

I don’t think she looks like a freshman, so the fact that she was trying to be one is even more shocking, as one student put it.<\/p>\n

Similarly, “it was quite risky for the school and most of the students in there,” as one more student put it.<\/p>\n

While she was only on campus for four days, other students claim to have received text messages from her inviting them to hang out and seeing her in the classroom.<\/p>\n

One student explained, “The girl had asked several of the females I know to hang out with her at Commercial Avenue, but when they didn’t show up, she started being odd with them.” Scary because “anything can happen”<\/p>\n

A parent of a high school senior at New Brunswick High School says her child has confided in her about the terrible events at the school.<\/p>\n

She wonders why school officials, educators, and others weren’t alerted to the situation earlier.<\/p>\n

“When I questioned her about her age, she said. She went and did an odd thing. She took a few glances at me, turned away, and then returned before leaving. That’s a warning sign, in my opinion, and they ought to see it too “The student remarked.<\/p>\n
