Officials in Hunterdon County have announced that the county has won the New Jersey Tourism Industry Associations’ 2022 Excellence Award in Digital Outreach.<\/p>\n

The winner of the Digital Outreach Award is the group that devises the innovative digital marketing plan that attracts the most new visitors and opens the most new markets.<\/p>\n

We’ve made a concerted effort to promote Hunterdon County as a must-see for visitors from the New York and Philadelphia areas, said Hunterdon County Commissioner Sue Soloway.<\/p>\n

The county took home the honour for its groundbreaking Explore Hunterdon tourism marketing program.<\/p>\n

The new “The Other Side of Jersey” brand was introduced to the public alongside a redesigned website, widespread media coverage, and a year-long social media and internet marketing campaign.<\/p>\n

Director of Economic and Tourist Development Marc Saluk has stated that in 2023 the county will maintain and even increase its tourism efforts.<\/p>\n

To paraphrase, “We’ve got a wonderful crew and so many incredible destinations,” he remarked. To paraphrase, “People will keep finding us for years to come.”<\/p>\n

“Hunterdon County has long been considered to be full of fantastic locations,” said Commissioner Jeff Kuhl in a statement, “particularly our booming agritourism industry and many historic sites.”<\/p>\n
