It has been reported that Chuu used “violent language and misuse of authority” toward the employees of LOONA’s agency, Blackberry Creative, leading to his dismissal as a member of the band. This morning (November 25), the agency behind LOONA released a statement on their official Fancafe announcing that Chuu had been “expelled and withdrew” as a member of the group, leaving them with 11 total.<\/p>\n

A reason for the idol’s dismissal from LOONA was cited as her “violent language and misuse of power toward our personnel,” the organization claimed. So yet, Chuu has said nothing in response to these accusations. As such, NME has reached out to Chuu for his thoughts.<\/p>\n

According to a statement translated by Soompi from Korean, Blackberry Creative says, “Agency representatives are apologizing and soothing personnel, and we have chosen to take responsibility for this and remove Chuu from LOONA<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Members of LOONA will “act with respect and gratitude” toward their personnel, and they will “try as hard as possible so an incident like this never happens again in the future no matter what,” according to the statement.<\/p>\n

In light of the staff’s “sacrifices and devotion,” the agency “will do all possible to give back” to them, the statement continues. “Once again, we want to apologize to the staff members and the spectators who were inconvenienced by this occurrence,” the statement read.<\/p>\n

Chuu made her LOONA debut alongside the other original members that year. Before making her official debut with LOONA on August 2018 with the track “[+ +],” she released a self-titled solo album in December 2017 as part of the group’s pre-debut strategy.<\/p>\n

According to an exclusive story published by Wikitree, a South Korean news outlet, in March of this year, Chuu was rumored to have sued her management business in an effort to get out of her LOONA contract, which ultimately led to her dismissal from the show.<\/p>\n

Reports in the Korea JoongAng Daily said that the idol had “partially” won the case he had brought against the agency. According to Blackberry Creative’s statement on Chuu’s departure, the agency and the members of LOONA refrained from commenting on the rumors surrounding Chuu’s status with the group so as to “not cause issues with the group’s progress or cause anxiety to fans.”<\/p>\n
