Thor is delighted to see his son because, when he left, Bjorn was a young child who could not even say “father.” But then he discovers something that fills him with terror: Bjorn married a Dane and had children with her.<\/p>\n

Thor only agrees to go up to the window where he can yell across to Bjorn (in a window at the Farnsby residence) so that he can officially disown his son.<\/p>\n

Flower and Isaac attempt to persuade him to see his son, who has been waiting to see him for one thousand years.<\/p>\n

Isaac tries to console Thor when he accuses his son of being a traitor by saying, “Well, you know, Benedict Arnold was a traitor, but he was still a great dinner-party guest.” When Bjorn refers to Thor as “father,” however, Thor’s ice-cold Viking heart begins to melt. He adores his spectral son!<\/p>\n

Less endearing is what Sam and Jay endure at the Farnsby residence while attempting to rejoin the Vikings. Henry is surprised by Jay’s inquisitiveness when he picks up an inverted pineapple statue because he is aware that Sam is interested in fruit sculpture.<\/p>\n

Not helpful is Jay’s incessant discussion of Sam’s passion for the subject in college. Jay and Sam are unharmed, but those poor children have utterly failed to get along with their neighbors.<\/p>\n

Since ghosts do not require currency, it appears that they settled on their own method of payment a few centuries ago. According to Isaac, Hetty has amassed a large number of back rubs due to her “shrewd haggling and general aversion to physical touch, which causes her to never cash them in.”<\/p>\n

Hetty has no time for complaints from new money, so Trevor, the newest ghost and the one who receives the fewest back rubs, is bothered by it the most.<\/p>\n

Trevor devises a scheme to produce an alternative form of currency to compete with Hetty’s and return to the game. Obviously, everything backfires on him. Trevor decides to begin purchasing and selling TV Time.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the former is more accurate; he successfully convinces the majority of his fellow ghosts to sell him their TV Time in exchange for a few back rubs, allowing him to control the television for the following month.<\/p>\n

Later, Hetty discovers Trevor sitting alone on the couch launching his ninth “Toe pick!” and the two have a very heartfelt conversation. Hetty observes that it appears he only valued money when he could share it with his loved ones.<\/p>\n
