He was 31. Thursday, the Riverside County sheriff’s coroner’s office confirmed the identities of climbers Escobar and Chelsea Walsh, 33.<\/p>\n
After receiving a report of a climbing accident involving two people around noon on Wednesday near Tahquitz Rock in the San Bernardino National Forest, firefighters located their bodies. According to authorities, Escobar and Walsh both fell from a “rock face” and perished instantly.<\/p>\n
It had rained lightly earlier in the day, but authorities were unable to immediately determine whether or whether the weather had had a role in the fatalities. Escobar was selected by the Cowboys in the second round in 2013. He remained a member of the team for three years. He also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs.
