The hero of the story does what all good isekai heroes do: he gets run over by a car. After this, he is reborn as a sword, as the name implies. Fran, a catgirl slave in a less-than-enviable situation, stumbles upon the said weapon.<\/p>\n
When Fran and the sword form an alliance, the blade earns the title “Master” and helps defend and battle alongside the young woman on their subsequent mission. Despite the moniker he adopts, Master and his new ally become close, almost like a father and a daughter.
