(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/newjerseylocalne/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114After a series of leaks last month, it has finally been confirmed that the third season of the popular anime series Fire Force will air.

The global anime community enjoys nothing more than loving, sharing, and discussing the most recent theories and leaks on their favorite shows.

The discussion surrounding leaks is centered on social media, particularly Twitter, where both true spoilers and bogus news may fast spread to followers around the world.

Last month, a well-known leaker reported that the Fire Force anime was once again in development; happily, the Japanese production company behind the series has recently confirmed this information.

On May 17th, the third season of Fire Force was officially announced. Alongside the domestic website, the series’ Japanese Twitter profile claimed that a third season was “already in production.”

Fans of the anime series have been sure for some time that this news was imminent due to multiple leaks that occurred last month.

Popular and typically-reliable Twitter leaker and insider SugoiLITE announced on April 29 that “‘Fire Force’ (Enen no Shouboutai) TV Anime Season 3 is currently in development.”

The good news was that Fire Force’s comeback was virtually assured, as anime renewals are typically influenced by two factors: popularity and source material.

Fire Force is a wildly popular series among fans, but don’t take our word for it. Fire Force is currently rated 7.6/10 on IMDB, 83 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, 4.1/5 on Crunchyroll, and 7.69/10 and 7.78/10 for both seasons on MyAnimeList, with a total of 890,000 reviews.

Even though these numbers have little bearing on the Japanese performance, which is likely a more crucial renewal element than foreign success, they do imply that Fire Force was successful enough to warrant a third anime season.

There is also sufficient source material to make a third season of the anime. According to Anime Geek (previously Monsters & Critics), the original manga was adapted till about volume 20 chapter 174.

The good news is that a total of 304 chapters across 34 volumes have been released in Japan, with the series has reached its conclusion earlier this year after an incredible six years of serialization.
