When the cameras stopped rolling at The Billboard Awards, the celebration continued… and it got even wilder at the after-party with some of the night’s greatest performers.
\nThe Billboard Music Awards are handed out yearly by Billboard, a music industry journal that also publishes a music popularity list. With the exception of the years, 2007 through 2010, the Billboard Music Awards have been held yearly since 1990. The tournament was formerly held in December, but it has been hosted in May since its reintroduction in 2011.<\/p>\n

The Billboard Music Prizes finalists are determined by album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring, and social engagement, unlike other awards such as the Grammy Award<\/a>, which are determined by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences’ highest votes. Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data and Next Big Sound, monitor these metrics all year. The 2018 honors were determined using data from April 8, 2017, to March 31, 2018.\u00a0 In a variety of music genres, awards are awarded for the best album, performer, and single.<\/p>\n

The Billboard Awards, presented by Diddy aka Brother Love, were incredible last night. A Broadway musical has more outfit changes than Love.<\/p>\n

Last night, my man pulled out all the stops. Even French Montana had some screen time in front of millions of people.
\nDiddy threw a star-studded after-party at TAO sponsored by Metaverse behemoth Victoria VR far into the morning after the Billboard Awards. Like a modern-day Contest of Champions, several of the universe’s brightest stars congregated in one spot.<\/p>\n

The Queen B \u2013 Lil Kim, Ray J, Cara Delevigne, Teyana Taylor, Mary J. Blige, MGK, Megan Fox, Nelly, French Montana, Usher, Black Ink Crew Compton- Danny Kilpatrick, Revolt’s CEO Detavio Samuels, and others were among those in attendance.<\/p>\n
