Detectives from the New Jersey State Police say they have been keeping tabs on a stolen car that was recently spotted in the Lake Success area. Law enforcement officers from Lake Success were sent out to check the neighborhood.
A resident of Lake Success reported that her 2021 Land Rover had been stolen from her garage while police were out canvassing the area. All three suspects were taken into custody without incident after a multi-jurisdictional investigation led to the discovery of both vehicles on the Verrazano Bridge.
Jabir Robinson, 18, from 91 South 14th Street, Newark, is accused of second-degree burglary, grand larceny, third-degree criminal facilitation, third-degree criminal possession of the stolen property, and third-degree criminal conspiracy.
On January 9, 2023, he appeared in Hempstead’s First District Court, which is located at 99 Main Street.

The teen is being held on two counts of 2nd-degree burglary and grand theft. He was given a return date of Tuesday, January 17, 2023, on his Family Court Appearance ticket before being released.
