Aboard the day before one of the busiest travel days of the year, Thanksgiving, a bomb threat was made on a JetBlue flight from Florida to New Jersey. The flight left Orlando at 8 a.m. and landed in Newark at around 10:30 a.m., as recorded by the flight tracking website FlightAware.
Approximately 100 people were on board at the time of the threat, which was sent at 10:14 a.m., as reported by News12. A JetBlue representative told McClatchy News that the plane landed in Newark and then taxied to a “remote area,” where “law enforcement met the flight and cleared the aircraft.”
According to PIX11, no one was hurt, and one was arrested. No one knows who it is yet because nobody has found them. A spokesperson for JetBlue stated, “The safety of our customers and crewmembers is JetBlue’s first priority, and we will work to support law enforcement with their investigation.
