After leading police from Placentia and the CHP on a high-speed chase across Orange and Los Angeles Counties at roughly 1:00 a.m. on Monday, March 13, two women in a white Escalade have been taken into custody in Buena Park.
The pursuit began near the intersection of State College Boulevard and Chapman Avenue in Fullerton, where the Placentia Police Department had previously attempted to pull the driver over for traffic offenses.
The criminals fled in a westerly direction on CA-91. At one point, the suspects left Artesia, and Placentia PD officers gave up the chase.
CHP Santa Fe Springs officers saw the car head north on the 605 from Firestone Boulevard for five minutes before relocating it.
They tried to stop it again, but it drove off, this time towards Rowland Heights and then following a square route that took it up the 60, across the 57, and down the 5 before returning to Los Angeles.
Once officers spiked the vehicle at Carmenita Road, the suspects fled on foot to Beach Boulevard in Buena Park, where they fled south until slamming into a low retaining wall next to a walkway.
Two of the occupants were arrested at the bare minimum.
There were no reported injuries.
