Kate Upton Celebrates With Husband Justin Verlander on FOX After World Series Game 5 Win!

Kate Upton attended Saturday night’s World Series victory parade for the Houston Astros and her husband, Justin Verlander. After her husband won the World Series and got the first winning decision of his career, the model was spotted on the field giving him a big smooch.

Upton walked up to Justin Verlander when he was chatting with Kevin Burkhardt, A-Rod, David Ortiz, and Frank Thomas of FOX Sports. She claimed to have helped the Astros with “A-plus cheering” in a conversation with A-Rod. Upton was then questioned about Verlander’s injury history and how it led to the team’s third straight World Series title.

“It’s been an amazing adventure,” she gushed. “Having Justin back home and spending time as a family has been incredible, but coming to the World Series and winning has made it all worthwhile. We always feel a void whenever he is not around.” Then Ortiz asked if she wanted him to play “one more year.” With a questioning expression, Verlander asked, “One more year?”

Upton has stated that watching Verlander play is something she enjoys doing. She lamented, “This is the most of him we get to see.” “To witness him at work in his chosen medium is to witness a true artist at work.

We are truly humbled and appreciative of the craft that is his pitching.” “Alright, alright,” Verlander responded with a chuckle. Upton was interviewed by KHOU-TV later that evening, where he was asked about Verlander’s Game 1 World Series pitching victory.

“I really don’t know what his take is on that,” she admitted. “For my part, though, I couldn’t be happier that he has it. In any case, he’s such a legend that nobody gives a rat’s a—- about him.”

In a few weeks, when the American League Cy Young Award winner is announced, Verlander may be able to add to his collection of trophies. He is a leading candidate for the award after dominating the American League with a 1.75 ERA and 185 strikeouts in 28 starts. In the event of a victory, this third would be his.
