In the Wee Hours of the Morning, There Were Multiple Shootings in New York City, Leaving 1 Dead and 2 Injured

One man was killed and two people were injured in shootings across the five boroughs of New York City early on Saturday morning, police said.

Before 6 o’clock in the morning, gunfire erupted at 3700 Jerome Ave in the Bronx, where police say a 45-year-old man was shot in the head and later died.

The Bronx resident Devon Millington was pronounced dead after he was taken to Montefiore Medical Center, police said.

No one was taken into custody.

Police said a revolver was found in the area.

Gino’s Pizza and Restaurant’s manager claims he had just arrived at work and was in the rear kitchen when a worker walked in and informed him that someone had fallen from the building in front.

“He told me, he said, ‘I saw one guy fall,'” the manager, who would not give his name, added.

I walk up to the front and see him face down on the floor.

Apparently, he dialed 911. The worker stated, “Right now the police are coming over here every day.” There is no honor among these folks. There were drugs, fights, gunfire, and more.

It’s quite risky, they said. A homeless man, who did not wish to provide his name, reported hearing three gunshots at approximately 11 o’clock last night.

“Boom, boom, boom, like real heavy,” he exclaimed. “You’ve got yourself a big, bad gun there. The source of the noise was high in the station.

At around 5 a.m., the victim was discovered on the ground, according to another homeless man who declined to provide his name. Millington was located in close proximity to the elevated Woodlawn subway station.

The witness claimed, “At five o’clock in the morning, I saw a man on the ground and he was bleeding out of his mouth.”

He was wearing a hoodie. When I unmasked him, I noticed blood all over him. There were no gunshot holes in his body, but I could tell from the side of his face that he had been injured.

He was still alive and breathing. We made a hand signal to the police.

Police located the man after receiving a 911 call, but a spokesman said she knew nothing about a fall.

Near 144 Center Street in Brooklyn at 2:22 a.m. a few hours earlier, an 18-year-old guy was shot in the back.

The adolescent’s condition at Methodist Hospital is currently listed as “stable.”

He reportedly informed police that he was attacked by two men and that he was shot by one of them.

Then, at 2:30 in the morning, an East Harlem man, 31, was shot in the abdomen in front of a convenience store on East 116th Street and Lexington Avenue, according to the police.

The man’s health is considered stable after he was rushed to Harlem Hospital. According to the authorities, the victim was uncooperative and said he didn’t see who shot him.
