Dante Moore, a Top Notre Dame Target, Will Make an Announcement!

Nicholaus Iamaleava revealed his commitment to Tennessee earlier this week, making it a busy week for five-star quarterbacks in the 2023 college football recruiting class.

We spoke about how Iamaleava may be a game-changer for the Vols, but that’s far from the only good news regarding the class of 2023 quarterbacks.
While Iamaleava and Malachi Nelson have both committed to Tennessee and USC, giving them two of the top four quarterbacks, there are still a few exceptional, five-star alternatives left, beginning with Arch Manning and Dante Moore.
Arch Manning is, of course, the top-ranked recruit in the 2023 class, and every college football school would want to have him as their future quarterback. Manning, on the other hand, is up against a select few.

Manning is scheduled to visit Texas this weekend and Alabama later this spring. According to Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports, Florida and LSU are still in the mix. However, according to the On3 prediction system, Alabama is presently in the first place, and because Alabama will not choose another quarterback until Manning makes a choice, it’s a wait-and-see attitude.
Nick Saban has written an excellent one. Texas remains a strong contender, and we’ll see how this visit unfolds, but it’s difficult not to think Alabama has the upper hand.

Notre Dame will host Dante Moore.

The appearance of five-star quarterback Dante Moore early next week will make this a major recruiting stretch for Notre Dame football. Moore is rated eighth overall and fourth among quarterbacks in the 2023 college football recruiting class. He’s from Detroit, and although Michigan is a strong contender, Notre Dame football has emerged as the clear favorite.

Moore is in Ireland on an official visit this weekend. He’s gone to Michigan’s campus a number of times lately, but this might be the tipping point. According to the 0n3.com prediction engine, the Irish, who are now in the first place, will make every effort to narrow this recruiting gap.

My hunch is that if Notre Dame football is going to gain Dante Moore‘s commitment, it will have to come sooner rather than later. Michigan understands it has work to do, and if Moore adheres to the later schedule, the Wolverines will have enough time to catch up and perhaps overtake the Irish.

Will Johnson and Donovan Edwards, two of Michigan’s best prospects in 2022 and 2021, were able to rally in their recruiting efforts. Notre Dame was once a strong contender for Edwards, and this weekend will be crucial if the Irish are to get Dante Moore

Is It True that Dante Moore’s Draft Stock Is the Highest in The Midwest?

FACT, says Gorney. We’re not even taking into consideration M’Pemba, who is from St. Louis, and Tate, who hails from Chicago but both play at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy and I still believe the Midwest will produce at least five five-star prospects in the 2023 recruiting cycle.

There are now two, with Moore and Proctor, and at least five more players in the conversation, not to mention anybody who may show up late. Notre Dame is set to sign a letter of intent. Brenan Vernon may not be as well-known on a national level as some of his peers, but he is quite capable.

I’d want Chandavian Bradley to bulk up a little more physically, but he’s got the size and burst to do it. And Drayk Bowen, a Notre Dame linebacker pledge, may be considered. In terms of other offensive linemen, Cayden Inexperienced is worth keeping an eye on, and Ohio State recruits Luke Montgomery is without a doubt one of the most athletic athletes at his position in the country. It’s worth thinking about.

FACT, in Cosgrove’s opinion. While 2022 was a good year for five-star prospects from the Midwest, I believe these figures will be repeated in 2023. If Samuel M’Pemba and Carnell Tate had not chosen to finish their playing days at IMG Academy, I think this 2023 class would have produced the most five-star talents we have ever seen from the Midwest.

Even with these two in Florida, the Midwest has enough marginal five-star talents to replicate the 5 from 2022. The region already has two five-star prospects in Kadyn Proctor and Dante Moore, and I don’t see their score falling.

With just 16 of the regular 32 five-star players selected for 2023, I expect the Midwest to gain at least three more players from a group that includes Chandavian Bradley, Charles Jagusah, Brenan Vernon, and Miles McVay, Drayk Bowen, and Jaxon Howard. You also have to consider speedy risers like Joshua Manning and Adepoju Adebawore, as well as the likelihood of a surprise announcement.
