This May, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show isn’t the only event taking place in the west London neighborhood. Chelsea in Bloom, a free event organized by Cadogan in collaboration with the RHS, runs concurrently and transforms the squares and streets of Chelsea with eye-catching flower displays. From the 23rd to the 28th of May, over 90 stores, restaurants, hotels, and florists will compete for a prize in the awards, which will be assessed by an expert panel.
This year’s theme is British Icons, in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, featuring exhibits inspired by the people, symbols, and emblems that make up the United Kingdom. Large-scale works will be on display around the borough, and you can tour the exhibition for free by taking a rickshaw from Sloane Square.
